About Power South Energy
Mount Sibulan-Kapatagan Geothermal Project (MSKGP) is a Philippine renewable energy project of the Power South Energy & Petroleum, Incorporated (PSEPI), focused on geothermal energy Exploration and Development. PSEPI acquired the Mount Sibulan-Kapatagan Geothermal Project Geothermal Service Contract (GSC) #079 from the Department of Energy (DOE) on Oct 12 , 2022. The GSC area covers 10,692 hectares, bounded by the inactive Mt. Apo, Mt. Talomo, and Mt. Sibulan volcanic systems. The company embarked on its programmed Geology, Geochemical and Geophysical (3G) Activities during the last quarter of 2023.
The Geophysical “Magnetotelluric (MT)” survey will be undertaken in the first quarter of 2024. The MT survey includes staking of stations, data acquisition from at least 50 stations, followed by data processing, geophysical interpretation and 3D modelling.
Power South Energy & Petroleum, Incorporated (PSEPI) plans to mature the exploration block from a totally unexplored area into a drillable prospect area, with well targets based on the MT survey 3D modelling.

(PSEPI) was established and incorporated by Filipino visionaries in Manila, Philippines on the 20th of January, 2021, with the fundamental ambition to explore, develop and industrialize the Philippine’s frontier oil and gas, coal and renewable resources, respectively.
